Diploma to Degree: University Pathways

There are university pathways that can set you up for study and career success. A Diploma to degree pathway gives you two internationally recognised qualifications, often in the same time it would take to complete the degree.  VET courses traditionally focus on providing practical and work-orientated occupational skills, whereas higher education courses focus on providing theory-based knowledge and professional career paths. During your diploma you will learn how to apply a range of complex technical skills and in-depth knowledge. Diplomas are hands-on, relevant, practical programs that are highly valued by industry. At the degree level you will develop broad coherent knowledge underpinned by theory and practical training.

Benefits

University pathways provide you with the best of both worlds, practical skills from the diploma which transitions seamlessly into university theory and training.

• Two qualifications
• The diploma provides practical, career-focused skills to go with your degree
• Allows you to begin study in a small class setting with high levels of support
• Overall this can lower the total cost of obtaining a degree
