Site Institute provides an international student orientation before the commencement of classes. All international student visa holders must attend the International Student Orientation held in the week before the first classes commence. The date for Orientation are included in the Offer Letter. If you are unsure of the orientation dates please contact the campus immediately.
During Orientation, students will receive their student ID card and will be provided with key information about the campus and the support available to international students.
Occasionally students are delayed from arriving on time for the Orientation Program and commencement of class. In these cases, students will be scheduled in a later Orientation Program on arrival and be allocated to their class as soon as possible.
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a condition of an international student visa for the entire duration of their student visa. To ensure that our international students meet this visa condition, Site Institute arranges health cover for all students for the duration of the visa. The OSHC fee is then forwarded to our OSHC preferred provider – Allianz Global Assistance.
Payment of OSHC is required prior to being issued a Confirmation of Enrolment.
Students may arrange their own OSHC for the length of their visa and provide evidence of the cover to SII.
