What is Certificate 3 Guarantee?
The Certificate 3 Guarantee gives eligible Queenslanders access to a government subsidised training place, up to and including their first post-school certificate level III qualification in priority training areas.
What you can study
A certificate III is the first level of post-school qualification shown to have a significant impact on a person’s employment and earnings.
The Certificate 3 Guarantee subsidy for a course is paid to the training provider to reduce the cost of the certificate III course to the student. Only quality providers that pass the Department of Education, Training and Employment’s high standards are approved to deliver training under this program. Site Institute is one of the select registered training organisations approved under the Certificate 3 Guarantee Program.
Eligible participants can undertake subsidised training with Site Institute in the following qualifications:
To be eligible for the Certificate 3 Guarantee, a student must:
- not hold or be currently undertaking a certificate III or higher level qualification. This does not include qualifications completed while at secondary school.
- be 15 years of age or older
- have finished secondary school or left school
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident residing in Queensland, or New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland.
Employment status does not matter, nor is there any minimum education requirement, only the standard entry requirements for the course of study.
The program is subsidised by the Queensland Government however students are required to pay a marginal ‘contribution fee’. Concessional students receive a further discount on the fees. Check the ‘Domestic Students’ tab on the course page for specific fee information
